Quick Stance
Bookmark and Share
Players should have good habits in applying any basketball movement to perform faster movements . Quick stance requires a level of muscular strength and endurance in the abdominal area and lower back . Teach a quick stance for offense and defense is a very challenging task , and patience is needed because usually novice players do not have the muscle strength and endurance to remain in this position for a long time .

The most important part of the quick and the stance is to maintain the position of the knee and the elbow bent . All joints should be bent and always getting ready for explosive movements . Always play as low as possible to the floor . The more players move lower , the higher the player can jump , the more explosive movements , can perform a faster defense , and players can better protect the ball from opponents guard . So the concept of " play low and stay low" is very important for all the players .

Keeping this basic position requires hard work because the players would be uncomfortable and awkward in a position that is not natural . Tests are good for quick stance is to imagine that a player sitting in a chair with his back to the head position of the knee as shown . Quick stance becomes very tiring but if you can do really well , then we can be a very good player in defense and offense
